Privacy & use notice

Notice version: September 25, 2026.

This notice explains what happens when you use the VERASKOPE home visualizer. You can choose a photo and explore finishes before sending a generation request. Generating a preview requires your first name, last name, email, US ZIP code, and acceptance of this notice.

Your photo and preview

Your selected photo stays in your browser until you select Generate. The browser resizes it and removes embedded camera metadata before upload. Choose a photo you have permission to use, and avoid including people or information you do not want processed.

When you generate, the site sends the prepared original photo, your chosen finishes, and any applicable material references to OpenAI to create one image. Combined changes use one accepted attempt for the complete selection, rather than one attempt per exterior area. The website processes the photo and result temporarily to fulfill that request. The website and Salesforce do not archive your uploaded photos or generated previews. Download a preview if you want to keep it.

OpenAI processes the images as an external service. Its processing and retention are separate from the website’s handling of images and Salesforce’s request records. This notice does not promise immediate deletion by every service. See OpenAI’s data controls and retention information (opens in a new tab).

Your details and request history

Salesforce connects your request to an existing Lead or Contact when it finds a match, or creates a new Lead for your inquiry. Existing contact details are preserved. The name, email, and ZIP code you submit are kept with the request, along with the selected finishes, request time and status, acceptance of the applicable notice version, and your contractor-contact preference. These records support request handling, abuse controls, and follow-up you choose.

The email you provide is self-reported contact information. It is not used to calculate your preview allowance, and entering it does not verify your identity or ownership of that email address. No account, password, or phone number is required to use the visualizer.

Contractor contact is optional

The separate contractor-contact checkbox starts unchecked. If you choose it, VERASKOPE may contact you about your project and share your name, email, ZIP code, and project request with participating contractors so they can contact you. Selecting it gives permission; it does not promise a contractor match or automatically distribute your request.

You can generate a preview without selecting this option. Accepting this privacy and use notice does not subscribe you to a newsletter or grant separate marketing permission.

Daily limits and connection fingerprints

Salesforce controls the daily allowance associated with a protected fingerprint of your connection, not the email you submit. Separate site-wide limits help prevent abuse and manage availability. People sharing an internet connection may share the same allowance, while changing networks or using a VPN can present a different connection. Daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC; monthly site capacity resets on the first day of the month at 00:00 UTC. Availability is checked for each request; a displayed remaining count is only the result of the last request.

The server uses your IP address to create a protected fingerprint for these controls. It stores that fingerprint with the request and usage records instead of saving the raw IP address in those records. The fingerprint is a pseudonymous identifier, not a guarantee of anonymity. Hosting and external providers may separately process connection information under their own settings.

Attempts sent for image generation can count toward the allowance even if they fail or time out. The website does not automatically retry a generation request. Selecting Generate again sends a new request.

Retention and requests for removal

Personal details, links to your contact record, and protected connection fingerprints are scheduled for removal from request records after the retention period configured in Salesforce. The default is 30 days; the visualizer displays the current period before you submit. The remaining request records retain operational information, such as request status and the selected finishes. This cleanup does not remove your separate Lead or Contact record.

Your Lead or Contact record is retained for inquiry handling and follow-up until you request removal. To request removal, ask about your information, or withdraw contractor-contact permission, email info@veraskope.com and identify the email used for the visualizer. The team handles these requests; submitting one does not itself confirm deletion, and processing by external providers remains subject to their separate retention practices.

Use previews as a starting point

Previews are AI-generated concepts for visual and style inspiration only. Actual materials, colors, proportions, and other details may vary. The choices are generic and do not represent specific manufacturer products or exact product-color matches. Confirm appearance and suitability with real samples and a contractor before making project decisions.
