VERASKOPE
Cookies & your choices
Effective and last updated October 18, 2026
Cookies and similar technologies can store information in your browser. Optional analytics and Google spam verification have separate choices. Analytics stays off until you opt in, and Google spam verification loads only when you enable it.
Optional website analytics
Google Analytics is not currently enabled on this website. When available, optional Google Analytics 4 (GA4) measures website visits, button clicks, and inquiry activity only after a visitor allows it. Inquiry activity includes when a form is started, whether it shows a validation error, and when a submission is attempted or acknowledged. When enabled, Google receives browser identifiers, browser and device information, and limited visit and event information. Google also processes connection information, including IP addresses, when your browser connects to its service. Our analytics events exclude inquiry answers, contact details, house photos, and the visualizer’s protected IP fingerprint. GA4 can also create session and engagement events after consent. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. No advertising trackers are installed.
Consented analytics user and event data is configured for 14-month retention. The user-data retention period resets with new consented activity; standard aggregated reports are kept separately. Known public campaign codes may identify how visitors reached the site; raw query strings and form answers are excluded.
Use “Cookie notice & choices” to accept, reject, or change analytics where it is available. Global Privacy Control keeps optional analytics off, even if a previous saved choice allowed it. Legacy Do Not Track is not used as an analytics preference. These browser choices do not change permissions for contact information already submitted to Salesforce; use the privacy contact for those requests.
Analytics choices use veraskope-analytics-consent in local storage, containing only a version, saved time, and analytics preference. Both acceptance and rejection expire 180 days after you save the choice. An older cookie-notice dismissal never grants analytics permission. Rejecting also saves the same limited information in veraskope-analytics-denial in session storage to keep analytics off in this tab if permanent storage fails. This tab-level safeguard is cleared when a new acceptance is successfully saved or the tab session ends. A temporary local-storage check verifies that saved permission can be updated; it is not transmitted, and the site removes it after the check. If your browser cannot save a choice, the notice explains the limitation; readable but unwritable stored permission is not used to resume analytics.
When allowed, GA4 uses first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish browsers and visits. They are configured to expire 180 days after the most recent consented activity; your browser may remove them sooner. This is separate from the expiry of your saved choice.
Rejecting or withdrawing stops this site’s analytics collection. Withdrawal removes accessible site analytics cookies and offers an explicit reload to remove loaded analytics code; reloading clears unsent form entries. If you opt in again after withdrawing, the new choice must be saved and the page reloaded before analytics resumes. Withdrawal does not erase events already received by Google.
Remembering this notice
We store veraskope-cookie-notice in your browser’s local storage when you dismiss our cookie notice. It contains only the notice version and dismissal time. We check it for up to 180 days, then show the notice again. It is not an advertising identifier and is not sent to Salesforce. You can remove it in your browser settings. All choices still work if your browser blocks local storage.
Google spam verification
Inquiry forms use Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam. It loads only when you select “Enable Google verification.” Enabling it connects your browser to Google, which can process browser, device, connection, and cookie information for security. Google uses a cookie called _GRECAPTCHA for risk analysis; other Google storage may depend on your browser and existing Google session. Read Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for its service.
Your choice applies to the current page session and is not saved to enable Google automatically on a future page load. To stop verification in the current session, open the cookie choices and select the reload option. Reloading clears unsent form entries. Google cookies already set remain subject to their lifetime and your browser settings; turning the feature off does not erase them.
If you prefer not to use Google verification or cannot use its controls, contact info@veraskope.com instead. Google verification is not needed to browse the site or explore visualizer finishes.
Other services and your controls
Salesforce handles inquiries and visualizer request records. OpenAI processes photos only when you explicitly generate a visualizer preview. Hosting and external services can process connection information under their own practices. See our website privacy notice and visualizer privacy & use notice.
You can also control site storage and third-party cookies through your browser. Blocking them can affect Google verification. Analytics is not required to browse, submit an inquiry, or use the visualizer. On deployments where analytics is disabled, the cookie notice provides disclosure and verification controls without an analytics opt-in.
